About Me

Hi, I’m Ben Boskovich. I’m a writer, editor, magazine veteran, creative storyteller, and editorial director invested in golf, menswear, style and lifestyle, and where it all intersects. I’m originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., but now live in Los Angeles, CA with my wife after a decade in New York City.

Shortly after making my way to New York City in early 2014, I began working as a social media editor at Entertainment Weekly, a brand with a massive, loyal audience, but one that wasn’t making the most of that loyalty on social. As a part of a two-person team, I helped build EW’s social presence to what it is today.

Eventually, I wound up with an opportunity to do the same at Esquire Magazine. I started as the brand’s social media editor, eventually becoming the managing editor of Esquire.com, and ultimately, the magazine’s deputy editor and digital director. At Esquire, in addition to overseeing the digital operation and working hand-in-hand with the editor-in-chief on the print publication, I contributed regularly to the magazine and website’s Style and Fashion verticals, and carved out a niche as the brand’s go-to golf writer.

After 6 years at Esquire, I accepted an opportunity to become the Editorial Director at Bespoke Post, an e-commerce retailer that specializes in helping its customers and loyal 300,000+ subscription box members discover some of the best small brands in the world across the categories of apparel, food & drink, outdoor, EDC, and more. My task upon arriving at Bespoke Post was to add storytelling to the brand’s commerce operation, leveraging its support for small brands and its place in the market as a platform for discovery. In my year at Bespoke Post, I planned and implemented a 360-degree content strategy that touched merchandising, marketing, and creative, optimized the company’s copy flow, and collaborated with buyers on exclusive and limited-edition products, all while overseeing the brand’s social media strategy.

Since then, I’ve been consulting in the golf and menswear spaces, and have returned in a temporary capacity to both Esquire to cover golf, and have contributed to digital strategy at Town & Country while building a business in the golf hospitality space planned to open in 2025 in New York City.

If you’re looking for a seasoned writer, editor, storyteller, creator, innovator, ideation specialist, stylist, and all-around creative consultant, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to help any way I can.
