Public Drip Spring/Summer 2023

For founder Neil Tan’s first cut-and-sew collection, he wanted to build a story that tied back to the brand’s inherent ties to public golf. Founded in New York City, it was only fitting that Public Drip’s coming out party take place at Van Cortlandt Park Golf Course, America’s first public track.

For this campaign, Tan and I collaborated with real New Yorkers Brian and Ephrem and styled them in Public Drip, alongside some of their own clothing and a few classics we brought along with us. The juxtaposition of Vanny’s century-old locker room and Tan’s modern take on classic golf silhouettes made for a perfect piece of creative tension that shined through the authenticity of Brian and Ephrem’s dispositions.

The campaign was launched to great success and even beyond the season it was launched in, remained a topic of conversation in the industry.

For this campaign, Tan and I collaborated on everything from editorial and commercial photography, editorial and creative direction, styling, production, editing and distribution.

This was among the most rewarding projects of my career, and working alongside someone as talented and tasteful as Tan reminded me of what makes the golf space so special. Tan’s dedication to authenticity, and to delivering quality will ensure him as one of the brand’s that you’re about to see amass global appeal.

Neil and I will be working together again in 2024 and we look forward to setting the bar yet again.
